It slumps. That's the point.

A smooth, soft finish that looks like leather and isn't — it's PU, and we'd rather say so. It folds in at the sides and settles somewhere between a bag and a cushion.

Wider at the top than at the bottom, so it opens without you fighting it. Inside: an A4 folder flat, a fourteen-inch laptop, a folding umbrella, and the jumper you took off at eleven. Two pockets for the small things, and a magnetic clasp that keeps the top shut on the stairs.

Brown, black or cream. A damp cloth and it's done.

The one that comes out in September and doesn't go back in the wardrobe until May.

These aren't included in the price and are charged by your customs authority,

Spot clean first. Warm water, a drop of mild soap, a soft cloth, working in
small circles. Most marks come out this way, and it's far kinder to the fabric
than a full wash.

If it really needs more, hand wash in cold water. Never the machine, never the
dryer, never bleach.

Reshape it while it's damp and let it dry flat, away from direct sun.

Woven and straw bags shouldn't be washed at all. Wipe them, keep them dry, and
they'll hold their colour for years.

Store it with a little tissue paper inside so it keeps its shape — and empty the
pockets before you put it away for the season.

A bag you carry every day will soften and fade a little. That's it settling in,
not wearing out.
